My Bøyum / Boyum book (2009 and 2017 versions)
My cousin Unni and myself has done some research into family history. My cusin Unni started this work, and gave it to me later. We have created an family tree that go way back to the viking age. A big thanks to Unni for doing all the work she have done with the family tree, and for getting me interrested in continue and at last publish it.
After the work was done and the online tree was ready, I started the work with making it into a book. After a lot of work the book was done in 2009 and it was prodused 15 books in paper for the near family. The book was also made in PDF format and made available on my web site.
This book is out of date and has been replaced by a newer version. To avoid confusion, it is no longer possible to download it.
In 2017 new updated version was made. Some new family members where added.
My Bøyum / Boyum book (2021 version)
Since the last version a lot of new family members have seen the world and som additional reseach are done. A new version both for the online tree and the book are made. The new book contains a new table showing the descendants of Harald Hårfagre (the king who gathered Norway) and in which generation. The new book (and family tree) is now posted and can be downloaded via the link below.
My Bøyum / Boyum book (2023 preliminary version)
I have received a lot of information about new generations in family. I have therefore put this into a new version. I am sure that there are both errors and that I have not been told everything. This is therefore a preliminary version. Please contact me about any errors and omissions.
Future versions
There will always be new generations, and increasingly aware of today's / former generations of the family. Therefore, both the Boyum book and the family tree constant will need to be updated.
There are currently no immediate plans for changes to the book, but if there is enough new information, a new version of the book will be considered.
